BRIEF HISTORY OF FLC

• FLC started as a women’s ministry in Bloomington designed to help only women.
•  Soon after that was started, the ministry realized that men and entire families also needed just as much help. The need prompted Family Life Center.
• FLC has been at their current location for 3 years and now helps over 1,000 families every month!!!!!!,

MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of Family Life Center of Greene County Indiana Incorporated is to assist all the members of a family with the support required to enhance the emotional, social, mental, Spiritual, and Physical balance in their lives. In doing this we support our community by teaching, training, and supporting them.


STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
The purpose of Family Life Center of Greene County Indiana Inc. is to care for families and individuals in their woundedness and to assist them in developing a deeper relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. This will be achieved by providing programs and services, which will improve the quality of life for the family thereby strengthening the community “from person to person”.

WE BELIEVE
That in the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. John 1:1

That all scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. 2 Tim. 3:16

That we have been redeemed with the precious blood of Christ, 1 Peter 1:19; not with blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood. He entered the Most Holy Place once, for all, having obtained eternal redemption. Heb. 9:12

That Jesus came preaching the gospel of the Kingdom of God and saying “The time is fulfilled, and the Kingdom of God is at hand”, repent and believe in the gospel.
Mark 1:4-15

That Jesus Christ commissioned us through his authority by saying “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; Lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matt. 28:18-20

That God Himself has established the sacredness of life, Gen. 1:26-29, marriage, family and divine order, Eph. 5:1-6:4, and He is committed to healing, restoring, and establishing His Kingdom in these areas. He has called and commissioned us as His servants through ministry, teaching and support.

That by seeking first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, all things will be added to us, Matt. 6:33

That we have this confidence in Him that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us, and if we know that He hears then whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him. 1John 5:14-15

That the thief does not come except to steal and to kill and to destroy and Jesus Christ has come that we may have life and have it more abundantly, John 10:10

We seek to share this message of the Love, salvation, redemption, within the circle of the Family Life Center of Greene County Indiana Incorporated.
